The $100 Challenge - gcChallenge.com

Handpainted 8" wall crosses, all different and unique, with inspirational words and scripture (i.e. "Hope", "Faith", "Bless this Child" or word/name of your choice on pre-orders.) I am designing a variety of styles and colors. All crosses come with keyhole in back for easy hanging. These make great gifts for babies, children's rooms, gifts of friendship, etc. and are a wonderful reminder for all of us to "HOPE"! (Hold Onto Prayer Everyday & Help Other People Endure!)

The inspiration for our $100 Challenge project stems from a tragic event that happened this past March to my husband and me. Our daughter and first child, Hope, was stillborn on March 22, 2009 at 37 weeks, just a few weeks shy of her due date. She was a beautiful angel and the support we received from Gold Creek Community Church was amazing. In fact, Cheryl Scheffer was right there after she was born, and Pastor Dan led a beautiful private family service in Hope's honor. We felt that creating and selling these crosses would be a great way to give back to our church while honoring our daughter is a memorable way.
